Raw, soul-searching, poignant, funny, but always honest, this collection is the third and final part of a trilogy which charts the author’s life, experiences, and progress through to the third anniversary of her husband’s sudden, premature death from a heart attack.
Each volume covers one year and is, effectively, in the form of a diary. These poems show her moving forward, looking back, being hopeful and optimistic, being sad and reflective, all lightened by the occasional splash of humour.
Her hope is, and continues to be, that these poems will help others who are either grieving themselves or know people who are.

Teri started writing poetry at the age of ten. At seventeen she adopted the nom-de-plume of Teri O’Neal. She was an active writer and performer of her work through to her early thirties, at which point she met her husband and life-partner, and, for various reasons, virtually stopped writing. However, she always knew that it was still there and she would go back to it if he was no longer in her life. He died suddenly of a heart attack, their having been together for over forty years. Twelve days later she started writing again and continues to do so. Professionally, she worked as a corporate treasurer for over thirty years. She is also an artist (as Teri Walsh), working primarily in the medium of screen printing.
