When Jak ‘Ox' Hoxha arrives on the last train to the sleepy Welsh town of Westbay, he does not receive the warmest of welcomes; but events back home called for a swift getaway, and what is more, Ox wants answers. When he meets an astute DC, he must convince her that there is more to a recent local death than meets the eye - and the truth could uncover something groundbreaking. But what does this mysterious death in Westbay have to do with Ox? Why did he abandon his post as a bodyguard? And how does a farm in the middle of nowhere tie into a string of ‘accidental drownings'? As Ox is unwittingly thrust into the centre of this scandal, he must rely on his own skill and wits to untangle the web. But who can he trust? And can he solve the case before the mastermind behind it gets to him first?
