We face various new challenges in our fast changing and ‘threatening' world: this book addresses a few of these topical issues, such as political correctness, transgender issues, the ‘Blame Game' and IT. It also examines some of the Christian's means of anchorage through the Word of God, repentance, grace, discipline and the Blood of Jesus. To challenge the generally negative attitude towards sex offenders, a Christian hostel is described that specializes in rehabilitating this group of offenders - it is to God's glory that over the hostel's 18-year existence none of the offenders were reconvicted for sex offences. To stimulate and envision Christians, particularly in the West, revival in different parts of the world is described. This varied group of subjects coalesces in the centrality of Christ and the supremacy of God's Word.
