Lucid Dreams and Wanted Nightmares by Erem Sahintepe

Poetry

"Torn between lucid dreams
and his most wanted nightmares,
he tried to find the long-lost light
and grow the flowers of his mind."

***

Lucid Dreams and Wanted Nightmares is a raw and honest journey through the mind, exploring the struggles, fears, and triumphs of mental health. Written by a male poet seeking to break the silence around men's mental health, this collection shines a light on emotions often left unspoken.

Through moments of despair and bursts of resilience, the poems navigate the duality of life - the clarity of lucid dreams and the chaos of unwanted nightmares. Divided into three parts, Lucid Dreams and Wanted Nightmares moves from the confusion and pain of mental turmoil, through the fight for healing, to the rebirth and strength symbolised by the phoenix.

Can anxiety and depression ever be eradicated for good, or are they merely anchored at bay, waiting to resurface again?

I, We & Society by Kowkab Naim

Short Stories / Philosophy

In I, We & Society, Kowkab Naim delivers a haunting and masterfully woven collection of tales that blur the lines between sanity and delusion, art and identity, death and redemption. From the chilling bond between a sculptor and his clay creations, to a mind's descent into darkness in a psychiatrist's chair, each story is a visceral journey through emotion, philosophy, and human frailty. These are not just stories - they are experiences that leave you unsettled, thoughtful, and strangely seen. Whether aboard a doomed cargo ship, inside a prison cell awaiting the electric chair, or within the whispering corridors of the subconscious, Naim crafts a world where every character, no matter how broken, yearns for meaning, connection, and light. Intense, immersive, and startlingly original, this anthology is for those who dare to peer into the warm dark corners of the human soul.

Blue Bird by Aisha Alghubbi

Romantic Fiction

Blue Bird is a deeply emotional novel that follows Liora, a young woman swept into a love that feels powerful, consuming, and impossible to walk away from. What begins as comfort and connection slowly turns into a journey where she loses parts of herself without realizing it. As the relationship deepens, Liora faces emotional imbalance, hidden truths, and moments that quietly chip away at her wings. The highs are intoxicating, but the lows force her to confront a painful reality.

Blue Bird reveals a heartbreak about how loving someone blindly consumes you, and the courage it takes to choose yourself again. It is a story of rebuilding, awakening, and finding the wings you thought you'd lost.

Lady Justice and the Sisterhood of the Crones by Jennifer Speidel

Fiction / Fantasy

The world is broken - corrupt men rule, greed runs rampant, and the voices of women have been silenced for too long. Enter Mavon, a demon, who's lost her taste for wicked souls, and Buluku, the ancient goddess of matriarchy, who's had enough. Together, they call upon the crones - women of wisdom, resilience, and untapped power - to rise up and take back what's theirs.

On Peaks Island, an unlikely sisterhood forms: Maxine, a no-nonsense New Yorker with a rebellious streak; Toby, a teacher whose empathy is her superpower; and Sumita, a gentle soul with quiet strength. As their magic spreads, curses unravel the powerful, and a revolution begins. But changing the world won't be easy - especially when the forces of greed fight back.

Witty, fierce, and full of heart, Lady Justice and the Sisterhood of the Crones is a spellbinding tale of justice, sisterhood, and the power of women who refuse to be ignored. For anyone who's ever wished the patriarchy would just... crumble.

Krakengait by Jennie Warren

Historical Fiction

Victoria Prescott comes face to face with her own reality when she begins to read a historical fiction novel, entitled 'Krakengait'. The book is set in the latter part of the Nineteenth Century. It is named after a castle which is perched above the Tasman Blowhole in Tasmania, Australia. Lord Arthur lives there, a revered and respected nobleman of rank. On occasion, his Lord summons his subjects to attend magnificent banquets in the Great Hall. His final invitation surprises his guests as their futures are held to ransom by an offer each of them cannot refuse.

This book serves as a text to convey core convictions, reflecting the internal fight made by man between good and evil. 'Krakengait has been a place for those who, in passing the travails of life, have come face to face with heaven and hell,'  Mary whispered.
