Gillian Wynne Grimm

Gillian Wynne Grimm wrote her first book at age five titled I Want to Be a Dinosaur Bone Digger which was an instant hit with her mother. She now illustrates with painted-paper collages and almost always has paint splatter on her hands and in her hair. Outside of writing and illustrating books, Gillian is also a school librarian, a lover of wild places, and a stumbling student of Italian. Gillian and her family split their time between Oregon and Vermont. She has a dog, Winnie, and two cats, Goose and Finn. Goose, like Morris, has problems controlling her tail.
