The Rose Well Farm Incident

Strange things were happening in the UK. A secret that the Prime Minister and his closest allies knew about, was beginning to become more apparent, and so the decision needed to be made as to whether to inform the public or not. The same situation had affected Sally and Freddy's wedding night and the days afterwards on their farm.
The Prime Minister was reportedly ‘abducted by aliens' and the general public seemed to fall for this story, which couldn't possibly be true.
What would be the final outcome and how would the Government explain things to the public in its country?
