Michael Mourne, a distinguished veteran NASA astronaut, encounters something strange that will change his life dramatically from the point of discovery onwards. From his discovery in space to earthly conspiracies, Michael Mourne faces a number of challenges. On his death, Michael passes all his work and problems onto his son Mitchell Mourne.
The intertwining tale spun from both Michael and Mitchell's perspective is thrilling, exciting and even horrifying. Mitchell risks his own life, as well as close friends and family, as he continues Michael's work. What he discovers could change the way the entire earthly population views life and the Universe.
The dangers he faces are deadly and mind-blowing. As he follows in Michael's footprints, Mitchell discovers a lot of things about his father that he didn't know. Michael's story is also an exciting tale of intrigue and life-endangering challenges. It counterpoints Mitchell's experiences excellently and brings out the similarities they both encounter in their separate journeys of discovery towards their mutual goal.

Aaron Chandler-Blake

This is Aaron's first book. He's a huge sci-fi fan, who has always looked up to great fiction authors: Asimov, Pratchett, and Tolkien. He was born in St Leonards-on-Sea in 1997 and grew up in East Sussex. For a time it seemed he would live in the cosy Sussex countryside forever, but gradually he started to grow anxious and began looking for new beginnings. He moved to Yorkshire for university in 2018 and made the move permanent in 2021. The author hopes this book will be the first of many for him, but time will tell.
