There are many qualities that you may wish to inherit from your ancestors and guardians, yet you cannot always pick and choose the outcome of this choice. Paatcha was a man of strong convictions of fairness, discipline, and social norms. He was equally an influential person, loyal to not only strangers who he may come across but his family.
Paatcha received a second chance to raise a son when looking after his grandson, able to tell the stories of his past in the police and war, creating enriching new memories for him in the process.
Structured around several different viewpoints and perspectives such as cricket, fishing and farm life, Nagy reminisces and retells the stories and experiences from Paatcha that impacted his childhood, influencing him to become the person that he is today.
