    A man is killed in the middle of People's Park, Harrogate, North Yorkshire. DCI Carl Roberts was the first to attend the scene. Investigations reveal that the victim was an illegal immigrant, originally from Nigeria, who had been previously convicted for sexual exposure and was a known drug addict and dealer. The witness states that she saw a man in a white coat just before the crime took place. A few months later police are called to a reported shooting incident in Blacklands. They find the dead bodies of two males, both with gunshot wounds. Here too there is one witness statement, which states a man wearing a white coat was seen leaving the scene of the crime. And again, both the victims were drug dealers.

    A police taskforce is formed called Operation White Coat, but the body count keeps increasing with victims who are drug dealers and part of grooming gangs.
