Phillip (married to Rachel and father of Chania and Zachary) is a businessman based in Hong Kong, who has been writing and making up stories since he was a child. As an adult, his writing was mostly confined to boring articles for business journals as well as the occasional speech for business leaders. At night, he used to make up stories to tell his children, Chania and Zachary which is where he got the idea for Terry the Intelligent T-Rex.
He has a degree in classics (old Greek and Roman history) and philosophy (which means love of wisdom, so can include the study of pretty much anything).

Zachary (son of Rachel and Phillip and brother of Chania) - whom almost everyone calls Zak - has a degree in modern history from the University of Nottingham in the UK. Zak helped his dad (Phillip) to remember the stories that he was told as a child and encouraged him to write them down and reviewed the stories to make sure they were as he remembered them when he was young.
So, as you can see, Terry the Intelligent T-Rex is very
much a father and son affair.
