Slope the Sloth lives in a large tree at the bottom of a large English country garden. Other than a handful of friends, nobody knew Slope lived in his tree, after all, who would keep a sloth in their garden? Join Slope as he navigates his way through the garden to gather his supper, but first he has to tackle the very spikey, and very wobbly monkey puzzle tree!

Martha Chengadu

Martha Chengadu lives in Dorset, on the south coast UK, with her husband and two sons. She is creatively fuelled by her coastal lifestyle as an artist, teacher, and author.
This is Martha's first children's book.
Slope the Sloth originates from her father's improvised bedtime stories. The garden, house, and village illustrated in this book are closely based on her own beloved childhood home.
