Licentia transports the reader to a vividly imagined, post-apocalyptic world of warring cities, mythical creatures and the age-old struggle for domination.

A band of soldiers befriends the mysterious Michael, who may have come from another realm, even another time zone, as he embarks upon a quest of his own. Will he discover his own powers and destiny as he traverses zombie wastelands, ruined cities, lawless territories populated by giant beasts and strongholds under the control of sadistic rulers? Could he really be some sort of prophet whose coming has been foretold?

Despite the chaos of this new world, it has a moral heart in the comaradery of the group who take on all-comers with old fashioned military might and techniques enhanced by futuristic gadgets and weaponry.

Michael's engaging story will take you on a strange but compelling adventure; an epic read!

Jordan Murphy

When he started writing this tale, it was merely an exercise to see if he had the ability to tell an exciting, graphic story. He had no idea that he would fall in love with not only writing, but also creating a new universe. He found himself becoming fond of many of the characters, and even becoming sad when he had to hurt or even kill certain characters. He can only hope, that this novel paves the way for a new chapter in his life, as he has many more tales to tell. He hopes you enjoy his first story.
