Paul Harland lives in the city of Durham in the north of England. He was a lecturer in English, drama and education at various times and dabbled relentlessly in a variety of arts activities - youth drama, community drama, writing workshops, member of a rock band, turning up on occasions on local TV and radio, and several years as a hospital radio presenter! The dabbling stopped and he started to focus mainly on writing. His first two novels, A Windfall of Secrets and The Anger Beneath, were self-published.
