J L Wolf was born on 7 January 1991 at Kings College Hospital. She studied E-Media at city of Westminster College then went on to study Animation at city of Westminster University. Then went on to work as a children's SEN support worker in a nursery and after that went on to do voluntary work for a domestic violence charity and a homeless charity. She is also a black belt at Kung Fu. Dreams of becoming a children's author and illustrator happened from a young age.
