Robert Russin
Robert Russin is the author of the novel The Counterfeit Journalists. A retired internal auditor, Rob explored the concept of auditing news outlets to ensure that articles posted on the internet were free of material misstatements. Rob’s previous novel, Light Burns, received a bronze award from readerviews.com in March 2024. Rob’s two short stories, The Mass of War and Cheet-O, received finalist designations from Next Generation Short Stories in May 2025. Rob is currently attending Arizona State University to obtain a master’s degree in English. He is outdoors, watching football, or playing Scrabble when he’s not writing or studying.
