Patrick Bennett has not lived a conventional life. In this searingly honest account of his experiences as a young boy to the present day, Patrick narrates, in his own inimitable style, the trajectory of his struggle with drugs and alcohol, his relationship with his wife and his daughter and his stints in various prisons.

Hailing from Liverpool, Patrick provides a vivid description of the characters he has met and the many trades he has turned his hand to before finding his ultimate niche, a captain at sea, a career he is still successfully pursuing. However, along the way, Patrick takes a few wrong turns, including an attempt to hold up an ice cream van, stealing a car and spending time at Her Majesty's pleasure. Not for the faint-hearted, this unerringly frank biography is both entertaining and perhaps also invites the reader, with its bravery in truth, to pause for some self-reflection.

Paddy

Paddy finally forgave Emma for her past and they went on to marry and have seven children, Amy, Rose, Diesel, Ice, Lolly, Pistol and Ball. Emma allowed Paddy to choose the names as a way of an apology for her chequered past. Amy went on to become the bestest doctor in the world, because she is magical, like her father. C**t was eventually kicked out of Paddy's head. He jumped the train to London and climbed into the head of Boris Johnson, where he still lives to this day, influencing all of Boris's major decisions.
