The Chinese Accession Act of 2055 is the story of the Chinese occupation of the United States and the steps taken to right the wrongs in America. A timely, gripping tale of suspense and intrigue.

Set in 2055, with America's excessive national debt and it's inability to remain as the world's policeman, the American economy finally collapses. The Chinese, alarmed at the demise of their largest trading partner, in order to protect their own industries and restore international stability, invades and takes control of America.

As the New Chinese regime tightens its grip, the American way of life is turned upside down. They easily compromise the rich and the powerful and the once proud independent nation of America is transformed into a satellite of the People's Republic of China.

From the streets of Beijing to Washington D.C., the world watches as America is reshaped under the watchful eyes of its new Chinese rulers. Will the American way of life survive?

Richard L. Torch

Richard L. Torch is a management consultant and has several management books to his credit. He presently lives with his wife and eldest son on a beautiful lake in Eastern Ontario, Canada.
This is his first fiction book, "A Younger Version of Yourself".
Richard describes his hero as Sean Little who now, using the "secret of the Pharaohs" with its billions of dollars, sets out to clean up our environmental problems. His hero, working outside the present political framework begins to solve the world's environmental problems, to the dislike of the US government. Mr. Torch proves that we have the technology, we have the money but it is our politicians indifference to the ever growing environmental and climate problems that are keeping us from a solution.
