Pegasus Rising by David Ayre is a work of fiction about the British Government and the uneasy truths surrounding Northern Ireland. Although the events of Bloody Sunday happened decades ago, history has a way of revealing itself, and the events of long ago come back to haunt the forefront of British politics in this gripping and compelling novel. Following an incident in the city, this turns out to be D. C. I. Harper's most important case with dramatic effects for her, and the face of British politics and for Great Britain as a whole.
