Rachael Munro lives in Edinburgh with her husband and two children. She spent her childhood in Falkirk, the home of "The Kelpies", the largest equine sculpture in the world. Scotland is brimming with myths and legends that inspired her, growing up. She has had a passion for fantasy since her grandfather told his own fantastical stories to her, igniting her imagination.

Rachael is a Sunday school teacher, a classroom assistant and the mother of two daughters, spending most of her time around children, and behaving like one! She loves writing fantasy adventure fiction and her hobbies include painting, sculpting and other crafts.
