In the beautiful Scottish countryside, a cyclist has been reported missing. DS Carron Patterson from Dockside Station has been sent to investigate but no one seems to have seen him. The local newspaper prints an article about the missing cyclist and asks for information, and a few people call in. With the new information Carron receives, she has more questions than answers. There are three more missing cyclists, possibly a fourth, and the only link between them is that they all went missing from Kilkarnie forest. To make matters worse, Carron's boss, DI Grimmer doesn't take her investigation seriously. But Carron is determined to get to the bottom of this.
