    Indy Monroe plays the lead role in the famous Netflix series, D.I. McKinley. As the latest season comes to an end, Indy decides to take a holiday in India, her mother's homeland. She is befriended by a couple, Sonal, and Prakash, who are huge fans of the Netflix series. Sonal is suspicious that Prakash is having an affair with another woman, Arundhati, and persuades Indy to play detective in real life. She follows him on a business trip and sees him hurrying out of a hotel. The next day she discovers that Arundhati was murdered there. Pretty soon, Indy is caught in an intricate web of deceit and lies, where nothing is what it seems and everyone-including herself is in danger.
