    Following an underwater landslide in the Persian Gulf, recent graduate, Roxie Phillips, becomes the lead oceanographer on the expedition sent out to determine the damage.     William retired from the U.S. military in January 2005 and currently works for the United States Air Force as a civilian on a military installation. He has been married and divorced with four children, all grown, out on their own, and doing well. His interests since childhood have always been in history, science, and, most of all, science fiction. Bits and pieces of this story have been floating around like puzzle pieces in his head for some time and with a friend's encouragement, he finally put them all together in this novel.
