Marion T. Lane, Ed.D. is one of the few African American members of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the National Gavel Society, the National Society of Colonial Daughters of the 17th Century, the National Society of Colonial Dames of the XVII Century, the Jamestowne Society and served as the National President of the Society of Descendants of Washington's Army at Valley Forge (2010-2014).
