Mitchell Creed was convicted of a planned robbery - in company, circa 2009 having grown up in various parts of Australia due to a situation involving his parents and the Law he inherited a penchant for the nomadic lifestyle later in life, in fact his family often jokingly refer to him as ‘the itinerant'.
During his travels he never seemed to be grounded or find a calling until this one particularly dark period at rock bottom when he just decided to execute a heist.
Following a relatively short amount of preparation and planning, he pulled his first successful job, no one else was involved nor present and he was in and out in around twenty minutes carrying over eighty thousand dollars in cash and change.
Whilst incarcerated Mr Creed was diagnosed with Bi-Polar disorder and upon the administration of the correct medication changed for the better virtually overnight, not hoping to blame his behaviour on his illness Mr Creed has penned this book in the hopes of inspiring misguided youths and would-be criminals to a higher purpose, one of honesty and freedom.
Despite his successes, he never reflects on his "career" with pride, in fact he is deeply ashamed at what he has done and ever since has remained adamant that his criminal career is over. He now resides in NSW where he is extremely fortunate to have rebuilt his life and thankful every day, for the opportunities that a successful reformation has afforded him, including acceptance into university.
Today he has a large and growing property portfolio, pays his taxes, donates to several charities and gives blood, he even has all his points on his driver's license.
Above all the author is thankful for the strong friendships and family bonds that have remained despite all his self-nullifying choices of the past!
