Jane Willis

Jane started writing poetry in the mid 70s, although as a child at junior school she always put her heart and soul into essays. It was when she became a wife and mother that she was inspired to write in verse and has written well over two hundred poems about every subject imaginable.

She writes from the heart about her life experiences, hopes, dreams and fears.

Jane has been single since 1989, has two grown up sons and lives in Wiltshire.

About Book

A Life in Poetry covers a wide range of emotions and passions, described to us with beautiful elegance. Spanning a rich and varied life, Jane Willis uses poetry to convey her feelings, thoughts and wishes to the world.

From environmental issues to humour, she has the knack of making even the mundane aspects of life inspiring and joyous. In a poetry collection spanning over forty years, you feel the many ups and downs of A Life in Poetry, particularly where her love of Christmas time is tarnished by her dislike of its modern commerciality.
