The Rook
The Rook has been an actor, croupier, motorcycle instructor, vehicle breakdown service telephone and radio operator, teacher, senior examiner, school governor, award-winning sport development officer, full-time carer and now first-time thriller writer, drawing inspiration from a long and diverse life - leaving home to move to London at fourteen to pursue an acting career, working in various shops, restaurants, hotels and a pub. They attended a mature student college and then gained a place at university. The Rook published research papers in their chosen field as a postgraduate. Most recently, they have helped renovate a property in an Eastern European country.
