Chris is a web designer who has a happy, comfortable life in Lincoln with his wife and daughter. However, when he comes across a rucksack full of money on his morning run, his life is quickly turned upside down. Chris's former life as a military sniper comes back to haunt him thanks to a mysterious, vengeful enemy, bent on destroying his life. Along with the money, the mastermind has left him photos of six regular, unconnected people, and a list - the Kill List. Can Chris keep up with the demands of this invisible, unhinged revenant from his past? Even better, can he beat her at her own game? With the stakes higher than ever, Chris "Laser" Beem must step back into his long-forgotten past, enlist the help of some old friends, and do whatever it takes to save his family and get his life back - even if it means murder.

Nick Love

Nick Love is a former Royal Marine Commando, who also served in the Falklands in 1982; he retired in 1987. The book is set in his beautiful home city. He came up with the plot whilst training daily for the 2015 London Marathon, running around the leafy lanes of Lincolnshire. He is a 59-year-old who, as a person with dyslexia, has written this book in a no-nonsense way which he finds enjoyable and easy to read. This journey has not been easy for him, but he believes the result paints a nice mental picture for the reader, in deliberate bite-size chapters.
