Did you know that the guitarron is used in mariachi bands?
Did you also know that the duduk comes from Armenia?
From the United States of America to New Zealand, musical instruments can be found across the world, all of their voices made to create unique rhythms when played. But there are some instruments that are not as well known as others, such as the Nigerian udu or the French serpent.
Retro Rhythms offers a journey of musical fun to both young and old, weaving in stories of the world's musical instruments from across eras and cultures in rhyme and song. Drawn with bright colors and fantastical shapes, this collection of doodles is illustrated in a mid-century style, marking it as a visually appealing catalogue for all to enjoy and learn.
