Years later, a chance encounter at a coffee shop presents a second chance of happiness, and of a new family dynamic. But the old saying goes that the path of true love never runs smooth. The spectre of illness already looms large within this new relationship and tragedy is stalking Michael yet again.
Love and hope struggle to triumph against sadness and loss. Will Michael ever find happiness for his ever growing, unconventional found family?

I have always been interested in writing and at a very senior age I had the opportunity to write my first book during lockdown.
Being a father and a grandfather has giving me plenty of experiences to build into my book.
Prior to working in a school as a learning support assistant I had trained as a draughtsman in mechanical engineering design.
My main passion is sport, having played badminton at county level and cricket, football and table tennis at league level. Running has also played a major part, as I have run three London marathons and fifteen half marathons.
