As a new mum, Jamie Davies felt alone in her journey and struggled to connect with her newborn daughter. Jamie wrote Motherfuckinghood to share the parts of parenting people don't talk about. This honest and hilarious account of becoming a new mother takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and parenting truths. Jamie holds your hand through your own journey. She reassures you that the long nights where you feel like you're the only person in the world struggling with motherhood, the epic public meltdowns, the nap strikes, and feeling touched out every single day is completely normal. Being a new parent, whether it's your first, second or more, is HARD! Motherfuckinghood takes away the stigma of being that ‘perfect parent' and helps parents everywhere feel like they are not alone in feeling the good, the bad and the ugly feelings that come with motherhood.

Jamie Davies

Jamie Davies was born and raised in Cardiff where she lives with her gorgeous husband, beautiful but very sassy daughter, crazy puppy and two very arrogant cats. When Jamie is not multitasking and playing servant to her ever demanding threenager, she loves to: holiday, drink cocktails, eat delicious food, party in the kitchen and spend time with her family. In her late twenties, Jamie stumbled onto the conclusion that the grey suit and briefcase bullshit of a corporate career probably wasn't for her. Inspired by the mind-fucking experience of motherhood Jamie turned her focus to writing her first book, Motherfuckinghood.
