HOW SAFE IS YOUR CHILD?
How safe is any child when the courts, social services and the legal profession have
blind spots, cracks and stick-in-the-mud procedures that child abusers and love rats can exploit?
How much peace of mind would you enjoy if your children developed a medical condition so little understood, you are banging your head against a brick wall trying to get medical professionals to take it seriously, or
even stop them finding fault with you?
How vulnerable would your children be, facing the bullying of classmates and the exasperation of schoolteachers, police officers and social workers who think the fault is yours?
Every parent should know what Carole Lonsdale and her children have endured and every judge, police officer, schoolteacher, social worker and lawyer should take notice.
Thanks to her, other parents can be forewarned in this, her courageous, raw and honest account of their lifelong ordeal.

I spent most of my life in the Midlands. Married in the sixties, had two children, both with disabilities. I trained as a hairdresser, had a mobile round for a few years meeting people and listening to the tales they would have to tell, some heart rending. At the age of forty we moved to the West Country due to husband's redundancy, and hopefully a better life for the children. Through the stress and pressure with the family's unknown condition and mental health, I found a release in writing, to begin with in poetry and now this book.
