Yuliya Kerimova grew up in Azerbaijan and lived
in Baku, a beautiful city on the shore of the
Caspian Sea, though she currently resides in the
U.S. while pursuing a PhD in Education.
She speaks and writes in Azerbaijani, Russian,
and English, and to date has published three
children’s stories in Azerbaijani.
In her writing, she draws on her experience
working with both children and adults, aiming
to connect generations through stories where
imagination creates moments of shared wonder
and joy, and where she calls for mutual care,
respect, and ethical responsibility.
