Vicky Steane
Vicky Steane is an author, artist and illustrator who grew up in London, moving to Eel Pie Island, in Twickenham in 2005 where she had a workshop and renovated an old boat which she then lived on for ten years. Vicky now lives in Glastonbury. Her children's books address both light and dark elements of life. They are extremely magical and funny, whilst also touching on some sensitive subjects for children, including mental health, grief and ‘being a bit different'. Each book encourages children to talk about their feelings through making friends and being creative.
