Tom Missimer
Tom Missimer has a Ph.D. in marine geology and geophysics and is a semi-retired consultant and university professor. He is the author or coauthor of one fiction book, thirteen nonfiction books, and numerous technical papers covering a variety of scientific fields. He enjoys writing, photography, and traveling. He has visited 105 countries, where he has photographed nature and wildlife. He and his wife, Maria, split their time between their homes in Fort Myers, Florida, and Parque del Plata, Uruguay.
