Born in Cape Town, South Africa she began schooling in South West Africa, now Namibia, where she began her journey through childhood trauma that shaped her understanding of the world. She got married at the age of twenty-one and later embarked on a transformative journey in psychology at the age of forty-seven. Now, a PhD candidate in Psychology, her work is rooted in resilience, healing and personal growth. It was only through years of study and self-reflection that she embraced the truth, "What you don't change, you choose."
