Renata Harkness
Renata is an experienced teacher working in the Steiner
sector. Having grown up in Croatia, she moved to the UK
to pursue her dreams of touring with a theatre company as
a performing artist, where she eventually discovered her
affinity for teaching. It was after establishing a family that
she created the Beebee and Tody stories as on-the-spot
narratives to help her children through their daily struggles.
According to Renata, it is her lifetime experience of
parenting and working with children in the classroom that
has been a major contributor to the Beebee and Tody stories
coming into existence.
