Raine Scott lives in Cambridge with her teenage children but grew up on the beautiful island of Trinidad. She started writing poetry at a fairly young age, not taking it seriously until her late teens. Within the words of Fallen, there is a cognizance that the span of time enables reflection, over struggles, endeavors and triumphs too. These reflections morph into words on a page and live animated within us all as though they were felt just as yesterday. Some of them speak of pain, others of wanderings and others of laughter. They exist, in essence, to testify that although we fall, we can also rise and thrive through the cycle of growing and learning while growing.
