Ophelia Osagiede, a writer, devoted mother and office worker, pursues studies at RADA's MA Text and Performance course. Influenced by Freire and theatre makers like Boal, her literary inspirations span Woolf, Lorde, Romantic poets and artists like Clare. Breath and Other Poems, her debut collection, reflects her musings as a black working woman. Raised in 1980s South London amid Nigerian heritage. Juggling motherhood, working in tech and media, Ophelia, post-RADA in 2012, penned plays, including The Love Thing at RADA. This collection unveils her unique perspective, intertwining personal experiences and cultural insight.
