Nina Wahlund was born in 1979 in Gävle, Sweden. She studied English literature at the master’s level, as well as creative writing, at the University College of Gävle. Having spent six months freelancing as an entertainment writer, she went on to work as a communication officer for the global company Sandvik. In 2020, Nina published her first children’s book and started her own company. She has published four children’s books in Sweden. Nina is also a translator, and in 2023, she translated her first children’s book, When Santa Lost His Beard, into English. Nina lives in Sandviken, Sweden, with her daughters.
