Melanie Starkey has always enjoyed writing. Whether it's a card with a short expression of words to show her appreciation, or a handmade book with their life story and pictures as a gift, her love of words, and how they can make people feel, has inspired her. She has grandchildren now, and she loves creating stories for them. To get the chance to read her own book to them is like a dream come true. Being able to share Ace through pages with others, she hopes, will give children a love for him like she has.
