Marie Blake was born in Arizona, raised in Florida, and has traveled all over the world. She is a teacher, researcher, and editor who uses her diverse background to world-build. When she's not curled up with a warm beverage reading, she enjoys cooking, kayaking, and visiting Disney World. She's a sucker for in-depth characters, finding inspiration from her three amazing children, adoring husband, and supportive extended family and friends. Candy-Coated Crazy is her first romance novel, but there are more in the works. Marie loves to defy the myth that smart people don't read or write romance novels.
