Lucrezia Scotto di Marrazzo grew up on the island of Procida, the smallest island in the Gulf of Naples. She spent her childhood learning to fish, row, and swim, but she always preferred books to outdoor activities. Although her origins are rooted in an island smaller than four kilometres, she is an explorer at heart. Her desire to travel led her to attend university abroad. She lived first in the Netherlands and then in Scotland, where she earned a Master's in Corporate Law at Edinburgh Law School. She currently lives in Luxembourg and works as a legal professional.
