Laura Cope and Frances Williams

Frances and Laura are chums. They live at either end of a country lane in Devon. Frances has been drawing Bernard the dragon for years. Her picture of Bernard in a hot air balloon inspired Laura to write this book. Laura loves telling stories. She likes to capture children's love of adventure and their curiosity. Frances created the beautiful illustrations. She designs and cuts lino, printing on the page and then drawing and painting alongside it. Frances is mum to Lucy and Max. Laura is mum to Ava, Levison and Alarna (Lucy and Max's mates).
This is their first book.
