I'm a retired primary school teacher. In my last few years of teaching I worked with children who needed extra help in school. It was a pleasure to help them be more successful. This often involved word games, reading and telling stories. Now that I have seven (as of 2020) grandchildren, we have enjoyed sharing stories and ideas together. Reading stories to children is a great way to stimulate their imagination and language development.
