After the capital study The Origin of Croatian Institutions: The Culture of Forgetting (2022) and the unavoidable monograph Direct Election of Mayors in Croatia: Democracy of Kings or Kingdom of Democracy (2023), the author returns to the topic of the state and society – European integration – with his fifth book. European integration and Europeanisation of transition countries in the context of enlargement and deepening is the topic of this unusual analysis. With the study European Perspective of Transition Countries, the author presents the findings of the perspectives of old and new members of the European Union and candidate countries.
