Writing an “About the Author” page feels like trying to simplify a complex journey, but the author’s reality is far more difficult than those looking in can see. Growing up with ADHD and Autism, Jorge Schwer has always navigated life with a different perspective – one that has seen both deep struggle and incredible resilience. Now a father of two, he understands that happiness isn’t a permanent fixture but something cultivated through effort and intention. He recognises that while life remains a work in progress and challenges are constant, there is a distinct beauty in the “imperfect”. For him, fulfilment is found in everyday details and the knowledge that, despite the hurdles, he has finally claimed a space where he belongs.
