Ishbel MacDonald Duncan is a retired academic and enjoys writing for pleasure now. She has previously written a walking guide to St Andrews and enjoys taking tourists around the old town in the summer. Her other hobbies include playing in local orchestras, needlework and walking her dog in Scotland's beautiful hills and woods. She doesn't miss working.
