Hector Piriz, born in San Juan, Argentina, in November 1958, is an electronics engineer. He is currently the research and development manager for a major Argentine business group. He has participated as a co-author and lead author in twenty-five international publications on topics related to power systems, energy, and energy efficiency in buildings. He has spoken at numerous talks and technical conferences in Argentina and internationally. A writer for thirty years, this is his fourth published book, following Seven Stories, Seven Lives, Paradise Is Not for Her, and Vague Memory of My Last Suicide.
