FJ Arena is a debut novelist, late-blooming science nerd, and proud father of a wonderfully chaotic blended family—two kids, two step-kids, and one very patient fiancée. Growing up with undiagnosed ADHD, he spent more time daydreaming than decoding textbooks, but eventually discovered a passion for genetics, physics, and the big questions that keep curious minds up at night. The Origin Equation is his first novel, written with equal parts imagination, curiosity, and caffeine. He lives in Australia, surrounded by love, noise, and never enough time.
