The author is a middle-aged man, married, and lives in Germany. He earned a PhD in social science and enjoys travelling, especially to the Alps region, where he feels at home in the mountains. Life is a stage, and many people experience stage fright. The unknown is a frightening thing when it knocks on your door, and you are all alone with your fear due to the unpredictability of the situation. The author always tried to help others overcome their fear before it consumed them and turned it into a self-fulfilling prophecy. His charming wife taught him to call on heaven for enlightenment and guidance, which he did and often got positive results. He is a good listener and pays meticulous attention to accuracy and details. By writing this book, he had no intention of becoming a household name but to show the reader how the protagonist of the book, Sam, faced the unknown many times in his life, stood up to it, and overcame it.
